I have a dear young woman who has been close to our family for years. She is not Catholic but an independent evangelical church member. She is from an alcoholic upbringing. Good parents just overwhelmed w/ life et al. She is a worker of the 1st degree; up early in the AM w/ her 3 children and husband. He is a tradesman, but too, chaos. By chaos I mean mental. Working hard going no where. I think about a book for both of them like *adult children of alcoholics *but looking for other suggestions. Any of you have free advice? This is a common struggle, I know.
