Something is wrong with me and I am immune to motivational speakers. Sorry, even if you have no limbs, I want to like you for your personality only (its me, not you).
So when I found a link to Lizzie Velasquez I was sceptical to begin with. To make things worse to me, it was a TED speech, which also annoys me sometimes for the oversize in the ego of most speakers.
However, to my surprise, Lizzie is a very down-to-earth person. This was not one of those over-scripted speeches which deserve Oscar nominations. I loved Lizzie for who she is, her personality, goals, and humbleness (like my future wife should be, I confess
