Who would be best to read as far as popes or saints go to learn about locutions, intertior and otherwise?

Fr. Benedict Groeschel wrote a book called The Still Small Voice. And you might try St. Teresa of Avila or St. John of the Cross.

I have a couple of books by St. Theresa of Avila. One is “The interior castle”. Is this one you are referring too? Can personal mystical experienced occur with just the regular state of grace bestowed by a priest at absolution?

Your priest would be able to answer your personal questions about this. I’m new to the church, so have only read a few books. 🙂
