Rome is already bracing for the impact of the many pilgrims who will converge on St. Peter’s for the May 1 beatification of Pope John Paul II.

I know of eight from our parish going, including our Pastor and Associate pastor who went to seminary at the N.A.C. they have lodging already!!!
 
Great opportunity. I am going with Steve and Janet Ray’s group.
Wonderful pilgrimage with them again.
 
🙂 Hi, I’m sorry but my English is not good. I don’t know if I can write this information here, you can move in the appropriate section.
If you want to come to Rome for the beatification, I rent my apartment in Ladispoli (20 minutes by train from the Vatican).
In Hotel, prices are very high and this is not good!! :mad:
In my apartment there are 7 beds and all comforts for 600€ for the Week End (April 29 - May 1) or 1000€ for the complete week. 👍

Oh, how I wish I could go-but I’m ‘too poor’ money-wise!

Sigh…I guess it would be better to stay home and watch it online (I don’t have TV). :o

Hi, But € 600 is divided in 7 people is about 86 € per person (not even € 28 per day) 👍
In the hotel the cost is 1000 € for a double room (500 € per person) per day with breakfast :mad:
