LOH Common of Doctors of the Church Intercessions

I use the four volume set of the LOH. For the Common of Doctors of the Church it says to use the Common of Pastors for the Intercessions.

In private recitation is it acceptable practice to substitute the Intercessions from another Common? For example, today is the Memorial of St. Teresa of Avila, is it OK to use the Intercessions from the Common of Virgins instead?
 
Yes.

There are actually many different reasons why, but to say the intercessions from the common of virgins would be just fine.
