Dear Mother with rejected son and all parents with children who have been rejected,
Prayers are being prayed for you right now. Your child–and each child–is so precious to God, our Father–our True Father. I have dealt with this with my own children at different times in their lives, also.

What I found most helpful in my situation was praying “The Healing of Families Prayer” found in the book by the same name. It can be found at:
healingoffamilies.net/Store.html

I choose to pray the long prayer almost everyday (although there is a very short one also). The long prayer is better for the “deep cleaning” that needs to be done in my family. It has also helped me be able to forgive, which has fostered tremendous healing of relationships in my family. The healing then went from one member of the family to another. The funny thing is that I didn’t think I needed to have any of my relationships healed and that I had forgiven everyone. In my situation, I thought only my children needed healing, but God wanted me to change some things in my life and some faulty thinking. He used my love for them to bring about healing in my life and then the healing came to my children. In my own situation, I had to have a better understanding of God and His mercy for each of us before I could help my children.

You have a different situation and God will show you what your family needs. He will make sure good comes from this, if you lovingly carry your cross.(Romans 8:28 We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.)

I will be praying for you and your son and all those who find themselves carrying this cross in their families. I invite you, also, to pray for all those carrying a cross like yours. God so loves each and every one of us so much! He wants each one of us to be in Heaven with Him–that is why He made each of us unique. Be at peace. God will lead you through this and many people will be helped. Be filled with hope. Bring joy to your son!🙂
