I for one would prefere to kneel at an altar rail and receive on the tongue.

In a tux, or dressed humbly? I wasn’t knocking COTT. In many corners, COTT is considered more reverent and humble than COTH. I was trying to understand the possible oxymoron of dressing to the nines to approach the Eucharist in humility.

If evening dress is part of your normal wardrobe, and if you are attending Midnight Mass on Christmas, is evening dress “not” humble?
