Longest Canonization

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone knew the longest period of time between someone’s death and their canonization. Perhaps an early Christian was recently canonized. Thanks.

Probably St. Philomena who was canonized by Pope Gregory XVI in the mid 1800s. She was a martyr of the early Church and her grave was only first discovered in 1802.
