THE HISTORY OF SALVATION IS BEING PLAYED OUT BEFORE OUR VERY EYES.

Let’s look at the BIG PICTURE.

Throughout the Old Testament and for the past 2000 years there is a very obvious cycle that continually occurs.
  1. The majority of people keep God as the center of their lives and consequently God
    and His children live in harmony with abundance of all that is necessary for a good
    life.
  2. Over many, many years God’s children slowly become selfish and begin to replace
    God with idols – in this day and age some of them are electronics, TV, music,
    sports hero etc. As they distance themselves from God they become more and
    more sinful.
  3. God chooses His prophets among the righteous and instructs them to call His
    children back to Him – and to tell them if they don’t comply He will have to punish
    them.
  4. God’s children don’t listen and continue in their ways feeding their souls with sin and
    selfishness.
  5. God severely punishes His children to wake them up.
  6. They return to Him.
  7. AND THEN THE CYCLE REPEATS ITSELF.
God has many prophets in the world right now, for all languages, calling His children back to Him and warning them of what will happen if they ignore Him.

For those of us who are older, we remember a time when we were young when TV programs openly spoke of God, showed people in church, parents taught their children virtue, honesty, and respect for others. The world has changed dramatically for the worse since the 1960’s – a time of “free love”, “the pill”, and sexual promiscuity.

We could very well be at the time when God has had enough. In this 100 year anniversary of Fatima don’t be surprised if we start seeing God’s chastisements befall us.

We have a responsibility to our brothers and sisters and to God to do everything we can to help them either return to God or, for those who never think about God, help them to get to know Jesus Christ.
 
IDK about that, take abortion as an example, close to the absolute worst sin we could be involved in, yet it was legalized decades ago, continues to this day…yet no supernatural punishment of any kind…heck not even a God given warning to the world, something not right about that imo.
 
When we get Holy Spirit filled AND get taught about it, we will be able to help each other gain a crown and thereby gain one of our own, and not until then.

Especially since 1960, there is grace abounding only when there are the 55-fold gifts (a number of them to each individual), and there are the gifts only when we have common life and interrelationships.

Otherwise, ascending He can’t distribute gifts and all that will be left to offer the world will be total depravity.

We must realize that God’s sense of time is much different than ours - we would think He would have done something by now - but you can’t really believe that He will let this sin go unpunished - do you? He will punish all the sins - immorality and materialism and so forth. I have a very strong sense that we will begin to see these punishments shortly. Keep in mind if a nuclear war begins that will be a clear sign that seal has been opened in the book of revelations. Also, remember, just as in the times of Noah and Lot, few people realize what is going one - there are so many indications - the one world people, trouble in our church - remember 2 Thess speaking of the great deception at the time just preceding the second coming. Sister Lucia of Fatima said in the 1950’s that the final battle between Christ and Satan would be over the family.
 
Most of the links you quoted, and the ones in the search, are of unapproved visionaries. We are told by the Church not to be guided by them…at the very least, they must be approved by their local bishops.

If you follow them, are you a Catholic? Because the above order is from the Catholic Church. I know you say that the Church does not approve them, so why do you?

Trust God to take care of abortion and other sins in his own good time. In the meanwhile, nothing is stopping you from trying to abolish abortion, from writing your local caongressmen, to demonstrating outside clinics, to simply stating your own beliefs, and living them.

Works better than following visionaries that are not approved by the Church…and approving them, possibly at the very moment they are condemned by the church, or they fall into a grave, public, sin themselves.

In short, trust God!

That’s fine if you don’t want to pay attention to what is being said - have you payed attention to the bishop approved apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success"? - this is the position of our church

Since the abolition of Canon 1399 and 2318 of the former Code of Canon Law by Paul VI in AAS58 (1966) page 1186, publications about new apparitions, revelation, prophecies, miracles, etc., have been allowed to be distributed and read by the faithful without the express permission of the Church, providing that they contain nothing which contravenes faith and morals. This means, no imprimatur is necessary.

True…the index of forbidden books was abolished. But, Cardinal Ratzinger who was prefect of the congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, warned that the index retained its moral force. As he later became Pope Benedict XVI, his words should NOT be ignored.

And the Church has acted;
The seers of Medjugorje cannot speak at Churches-When Ivan was planning a tour of the U.S., the Bishops received a letter from the CDF, forbidding his planned Church appearances.

Christine Gallagher’s Houses of Prayer…priests are forbidden to say Mass at any of them.

Likewise, Maureen Sweeney-Kyle’s Holy Love shrine…priests may not say mass, or even visit. Laypersons are strongly discouraged.

There are many others, which I do not know offhand. True, anyone can read web sites and books by these people. But, anyone can ignore even fully approved apparitions. They are simply not a part of the deposit of faith, which ended with the death of the last apostle.

You have made good points. But, the threats of these ‘prophets’ are not prophecy.

I stand by my original statement. God will act when it is time. There is nothing wrong with living a good, moral life. Set an example for those who see YOU, and you won’t go wrong!
