I’m getting married on June 23rd, and I’d like to “cleanse” myself spiritually in the month leading up to it. I usually attend Mass every day, and I pray the Liturgy of the Hours on most days, but I’m looking for something “more”, I guess.

I’ll be going to confession this Saturday and then I’d like to start a 28-day devotion of some sort, in preparation for marriage and to find some time for peace and quiet in what will surely be a hectic four weeks. 28 days is enough for three novenas and a final day (the wedding day), I noticed.

Anyway, suggestions would be nice.

You’d also have just enough time to do the beautiful 30 Day Novena to St Joseph - a great rolemodel for married life!

total consecration to Jesus through Mary according to St. Louis de Montfort or St. Maximilian Kolbe.

ever read true devotion to Mary by St. Louis de Montfort?
i very strongly recommend the consecration to you. part of the preperation is indeed to “cleanse” yourself as you might put it.

be forewarned, taking this seriously (as it should be taken) will change your life.
and you will never regret it.
satan will try to stop you.
research it, read about it from the experts.
most of all, pray about it.

i promise you though, if this is something God calls you to, it will change your life

God Bless you
