Looking for a "fun" children's Catholic Bible

My 8 year old son will be receiving his First Communion this year, and I want to buy him a good Bible. Not a pretty Bible that will sit on his shelf as a keepsake- one that he will actually read! My Protestant MIL wanted to buy him the NIV Adventure Bible earlier this year and I said no thanks, as I don’t want him to have a Protestant Bible. But I so wish I could find a Catholic equivilent to the NIV Adventure Bible. It looks so FUN and something that would actually compel kids to read it. Colorful, reflections suited for a child, etc. Does anyone know of anything comparable in a Catholic Bible (preferably RSV) but anything’s better I guess than a Protestant Bible!
 
There are some on Amazon. I am sure you must have already looked there. No RSV that I could see that were still in print for children.

I found a GREAT Bible-- wasn’t too sure about it at first-- but it’s great!! The Break Through Bible for Young Catholics. It has great pictures throughout, and explanations and reflections. It’s the Good News Translation. My son loves it and so do I!
