I live in Spokane, and I am looking for a good conservative Catholic RCIA class. Is there someone who could direct me to it, or something like that? The reason I ask this is because I read on a forum here, about how one RCIA class in my area, was teaching contrary to the Churche’s teaching, like for instance the prophets of the Bible were made up, or that you have to believe in evolution to become Catholic. So I want to find a good RCIA class that teaches what the Church teaches. Help?
Thanks!

GOD BLESS you, Sir. BEST IS TO CALL The Catholic Diocesan Office, Ask for Traditional Catholic RCIA, maybe even in a Monestary; Or Call a few Catholic Parishes asking for TRADITIONAL Catholic RCIA. Surelly there is one. Your on the Best track!. You’ve been Blessed in Attitude. Good not to rely on Hearsay and rumors, as we all found out. Live In Jesus is my Fav salute: Vivat Jesu: Knights of Columbus. EWTN Is True Catholicism; Lived as Christ wants!. EWTN is 24/7, ALL Media, Worldwide: EWTN.COM is online. “Journey Home” is Brilliant, on WHY Protestant Ministers give everything up, To Live as Christ Wants! :highprayer::bible1:

Please keep us informed when you have success.

The best RCIA is at St. mary’s parish vancouver Joyce St. BC… So many people’s lives have been changed because of it, many conversions people on fire in love with God and His Church. Super orthodox, amaing you learn and fall in love with the faith. Worth moving to Vancouver for. They even have it on DVD.

Hello, and may the Lord lead you to a good, solid, faithful RCIA process! I don’t know your area at all, so I can’t suggest a particular parish, but:
  1. Do not ask the diocesan office for recommendations unless you know for a fact that the Diocesan Director is reliably traditional in his/her approach. Many diocesan directors of RCIA and/or catechesis and/or evangelization are not, I’m very sad to say. Many directors are misguided at both local and diocesan levels.
  2. You might try calling/contacting the ACM offices and ask for recommendations. They would understand what you are talking about, and asking for. The ACM (Association for Catechumenal Ministry) was started precisely to help provide a proper approach and implementation to the RCIA process in America.
  3. Find some priests/pastors you believe you can have confidence in, or who have been suggested to you by friends you believe you can have confidence in, and ask them. They might know.
  4. Your question is a good one. The level of confusion in many RCIA programs is astonishing and troubling, and sometimes the confusion begins at the diocesan level.

Hello, Were you able to find an RCIA program that was orthodox? I am in the Diocese of Spokane too and am involved in two RCIA programs and could direct you to where to go if you are still in need. By now hopefully you have found one and plugged in, but if not please let me know.
