Looking for a good saint book

One of my closest friends is a good Christian (not Catholic) that basically believes the Catholic religion and just doesn’t know it. She recently picked up a book by St. Teresa of Avila and liked it a lot. (I believe the title was something about Prayer…I can’t remember it for the life of me though!) However, I think she found it a bit hard to relate to because of St. Teresa’s saintly humility - I’m not quite sure she understood it. So I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for a saint book that is easy to relate to and is just an all around good read. Any suggestions and/or prayers are greatly appreciated!

“The Little Flowers of St. Francis” is a wonderful, tender portrait of my favorite saint of Assisi, written in vignettes.
It’s very readable, and it brings you into the lives of Father Francis and his early followers.
Years ago, I traveled to Assisi, and found myself at the tomb of St. Francis, with the friars buried in a circle of tombs around him, and St. Jacopa buried below him.
I felt I knew each one intimately. I can’t express the emotion and joy I experienced as I touched each resting place.

A very good one is My Life with the Saints by James Martin SJ. It is factual, inspirational, and well-written. Not many books combine spiritiual reading with autobiography and mastery of the basic history.
