Looking for a hymn: "Gift of Love"

Does anyone recognize this hymn? It used to be in Breaking Bread (maybe 10+ years ago) but not anymore, and Google is coming up empty*. Here’s some partial verses and the refrain:

Verse 1:
Gift of love, dawning bright,
Pierces through endless night

Refrain:

There is an alternate set of words to the same hymn tune (PERSONET HODIE) called Shout for Joy. It can be found in Worship Hymnal, and maybe some others. If its the tune you like (its a great one), then you might look for it.

I remember it from my childhood. I think it was used during Advent often, at the parish I grew up at. It doesn’t seem overly, um, innuendo’ed, like some of the defrocked author’s other works.
