Looking for a Sunday/Daily Missal

Can someone please recommend a good Sunday/Daily Missal?
 
Please don’t buy a Missal now if you’re in the US. There are some changes to the Liturgy coming, probably within the next year or so. I believe that the changes have been sent to Rome for approval.

The Magnificat is good for daily readings and meditations,night prayers for the month. Also includes morning prayer, evening prayer for each day along with the readings from daily mass and optional memorials. Also has saints of yesterday and today and a reflection for each day. Beautiful artwork . Sundays are also there and the order of Mass. - costs $39.95 for 14 issues (1year) - can be ordered from www.magnificat.com

It should tide you over until the new missal comes out, or you may find it so useful that you’ll use both (that’s what I do 🙂 )

I see where this missal is much more expensive than say, the St. Joseph. Is it that much better? Is it more traditional is its look? Pictures and all?

Most excellent! I didn’t realize that there are traditional looking missals available without the new agey pictures and all. I shall surely buy one, even with the imminent changes on the way!

The changes have been coming for several years and we have no idea when they will be implemented. So rather than wait for something that is probably several years away at least, one might prefer to buy now.
