So, I’ve been looking for this Bible verse that talks about us being united with God after we die, to “know as God knows” I think is part of it, and it is used sometimes to support prayer to the Saints. I know its in the new testament, and I think its in the Epistle to Peter or the Romans. Any help with this would be fantastic.

1Cor.13:12 “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall understand fully, even as I have been fully understood”

Jn.14:20 “In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.”

**Eph. 1:18 **“having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,”

**Heb. 8:11 **“And they shall not teach every one his fellow for every one his brother, saying, `Know the Lord,’ for all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest.”

1 Jn. 3:2 “Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is”.

***Hope this helps?

I think what you are looking for is in 1 John 3.
See* what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every one who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
