I’m looking for educational audio files I can sometimes play to my confirmation group on different topics. I have a few from catholic.com shop, unfortunately many of them are not at their level, need something very basic

What age group is your confirmation class? I ask because it varies by diocese. I was confirmed at 12 years old, other dioceses confirm at 16.

they are 16, freshmen and sophomores in high school, but very poorly catechized.

Best things you can play for them :

Go to www.dynamiccatholic.com

Click “Decision Point”

There are 70 free videos to view online teaching the whole confirmation programme at a level for kids, by world famous catholic speaker Matthew Kelly.

The videos go in order and come with a downloadable ebook for the teacher and students.

All free online.!!!’!’’

It is absolutely fantastic, especially the videos.

I think you can download the videos as audio files if you need to,
If you Google: “youtube mp3”
(legally free public domain free youtube content can have the url pasted there and it will convert it to audio file for you to save in a folder or on a USB. Or to Dropbox.com

Its perfectly suitable for sophomores and highschool students and the videos are done in a very modern interesting cool way.

Archbishop Fulton Sheen is also excellent, and very funny while also being very educational

If you youtube him it should bring up some clips.

Mother Angelica is also fantastic,
Go to the EWTN website and you can find all her talks from the last few decades on EWTN, she is intelligent, deep, witty, funny and also.very interesting.

They would absolutely love if you guys all watched as a group: and discussed afterwards,

“The Passion of the Christ” movie

“Son of God” movie

The Bible Mini Series, from the History Channel (absolutely stunning 10 episodes, especially the episodes with Jesus),

The Fatima Movie (on the apparitions)

Other movies of the saints exist that I have not seen, such as Pope John Paul, Padre Pio, The Little Flower, St John Bosco,

That looks good, but I dont see “Decision Point” to click on ? Tried to search , can’t find videos

My teenagers and I really enjoy the “Word on Fire” podcasts by Bishop Robert Barron. We’ve been listening to them in the car on our way to school.
