While the seminary reviews may still be going on I am very concerned that an undercurrent of subversive activity within the Church is still happening and going undetected.

This notice was posted recently on an online version of a parish bulletin. It is not the first time such an advertisement has been posted in the Diocese of Rochester. I’ve seen these ads before.
Catholic Parents of gay sons and lesbian daughters meet at

Good Shepherd School Library, 3288 East Henrietta Rd.,

Thursday, **Mar. 16, **7:00 – 9:00p.m. Fr. Gary Tyman will

present “Primacy of Conscience”.
Bulletin

What really concerns me is the word ‘gay’. Why not use the word homosexual? Also the priest giving the talk to these parents of ‘gay’ children is questionable because of his signature on this letter.

Although I have not attended any of these meetings to know exactly what is happening I am really quite suspicious. Has anyone in the Rochester area attended one of these meetings or do you know anyone that has? I am looking for feedback.

I have never attended the meetings…sorry.
I have, however, noticed the prevalent heterodoxy in the diocese.

There are 5-7 yrs left to this…and then there will be change - but not without great difficulty for those who have become accustomed to the status quo.

I am also concerned when I see the phrase primacy of conscience as if that intends a Catholic may place their conscience at odds with the truth. It really should be primacy of truth, not conscience.
