I’ve just finished reading “Calvary and the Mass”, an excellent essay/article by the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen about the Seven Last Words of Christ and how they relate to seven distinct parts of the Tridentine Mass. Apart from one or two tiny mistakes, it was an amazing read and really opened my eyes to the symbolism present in the Extraordinary Form that is no longer present in the Ordinary Form (such as the Confiteor before ascending to the altar).
Now, in my search for that article, I had come across another that I failed to bookmark, and now I’m having a lot of trouble finding it again. I’m quite sure it was by Fulton Sheen, and it had a section in which he explained prayer to the saints and how it differed from prayer to God. Does anyone know of this work?
