I am trying to learn how to pray lauds and vespers with the 1968 Short Dominican Breviary. I have read “Learning the New Breviary” which was written for the 1960 rubrics (which the Short Dominican Breviary follows), and looked at the Divinum Oficium website. I can’t figure out where the petitions and prayer for a ferial day are located in the breviary.
I may have more questions about the various feasts, but these are the big ones now. I like all the psalms in this breviary, and I’d like to learn to pray it correctly.
