I’m looking for a quote by St Augustine that was on the quotes section of the forum, but I havent seen it in a while. It says something like, I don’t know what to have faith in, unless I learn what to have faith in; I believe. Can anyone please supply me with this quote?

Dear Rivera,

Is it “Faith is to believe what we do not see and the reward of this faith is to see what we have believed” or something close to that?

No its not that one, I’ve seen this one here before as well. Thanks for your feedback though.

Found it!

“Who does not see that knowledge precedes faith? Nobody believes unless he knows what to believe.” Thank you CAF
