Looking for Rosary Crosses

Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking for some crosses to do the rosary, but I don’t know which to get. Can someone recommend some for me?

A lot of this is confusing to me. And it looks more like separate parts rather than one whole rosary cross, with the beads. Isn’t there some sort of standard rosary cross?

Your original question was about crosses (crucifixes), not about complete rosaries; thus the confusion.

I would say my simplest, masculine rosary is this one. DH had me make four when he graduated from his MA Theology program last year, one for his spiritual advisor, one for the head of the program and two for professors. I do sometimes make this one with a miraculous medal center (which I tend to prefer). The one with the silver beads could also be made with miraculous medal beads without the flashy Pater beads so that it’s much more simple too!

It’s really based on personal preference. Most of my rosaries tend to be more feminine, since I’m a woman, but I try to come up with a few that are more masculine for DH and as gifts. I can’t believe I don’t have one up with plain silver plated beads. I think I’m going to have to search for that one…

Even for a standard one, it looks good.

Wow, it costs $23. There has got to be one in Amazon somewhere…

Yup, handmade in the US definitely costs a little bit more. 🙂 If you have a local Catholic bookstore they’ll likely have inexpensive wooden ones too. That’s what DH used to use before I started making them.
