I’m looking for some books to read on the mass, Eucharist, Mary, just general Catholic things. Not necessarily apologetic. Are Scott Hahn’s books good?

I liked Mass Revision all right, The Hidden Manna: A Theology of the Eucharist, Crossing the Tiber (even if you aren’t converting from Protestantism it still was a good read, quite informational), and the good ol’ Catechism, which I highly recommend. Get one with an index. 🙂

Thomas howard’s ON BEING CATHOLIC is excellent
Roy h Schoeman SALVATION IS FROM THE JEWS
Scott Hahn HAIL HOLY QUEEN

ANYTHING by Scott Hahn. I also cop to owning Saints for Dummies and Catholicism for Dummies. Got 'em real cheap used off Amazon. 😉

Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist: Unlocking the Secretes of the Last Supper by Brant Pitre. Foreword by Scott Hahn

It is showing the real Presence in the Eucharist by connecting to what the Jewish people was looking for in the Messiah and how Old Testament Passover prefigured the New Testament Passover (Last Supper). It has many more to talk about.
