Hello there! New member, here. It’s good find a catholic foroum, hope I could learn more and help others, too. So I would like some references to study, specially about the Bible.
In my home I have a protestant parent that is like to discuss the Bible with me, because he cannot accept that my faith in the Church and that I only must belive in the Bible and nothing more, so he basically argue that only have faith can save you, it’s not matter if you baptized, in true, he argue that bapthism is just a symbol in our faith in Jesus Christ and that deeds aren’t necessary, too, children doesn’t need to be baptized and don’t forgive us from original sin through. The deeds it’s only an expression in our love to God, the Holy Spirit is inside of everyone and there is no apostolic sucession, when Saint Peter die the Holy Spirit is that guide faithful to the Truth now (and I wonder why who many denominations exist). Also, I try to search, but never find a truthful source about the position of the Bible beside the Church.
Basically is that, if someone could help I would be grateful, I want to defend better my faith.
