Hello, I am looking to sponsor a child through Unbound ministries. They sound reputable and will do some good. I am having trouble choosing someone. I farm and my first inclination was to choose a person that has an interest in agriculture, but I have backed away from that. I figure if I was married and had children I wouldn’t get to pick and choose. Appreciate any (name removed by moderator)ut or experience you may have in sponsorship. Thank you, Matt.

They can choose for you.
It might be a good suggestion to make a list of attributes in a child that you are comfortable addressing. It might be hard to be a positive influence to someone, even a child, who is diametrically the opposite of you and your personality, talents, and principles. This piece of “advice” certainly doesn’t pertain to an infant or child under say, six or seven.

Good luck

I have been with Unbound for many years and they are everything they say they are. Let God choose your child. Sign up with them, choose a child or elderly person to sponsor, male or female and the country, and let Unbound send you their information. You will get just the right one! :yup:

My parents sponsor a young boy in Guatemala and an elderly woman in Mexico through the Unbound program. It’s a wonderful organization. I would love to be able to sponsor someone someday.

God bless you for making the decision to sponsor a child! 🙂

We just started sponsoring a two year old in Guatemala. Looks like a great program.
Give them a call and talk to them, they are very helpful.
