Lord, please soften my husband’s heart and give him faith. He has been hardened by life’s events and I am trying to be a loving supportive wife. I am tired and feel as though my tears mean nothing. He is determined to divorce and move out and move on with his life. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary in June. The financial stress we have felt along with life’s other challenges has drained our marriage. He is hurt and has reached out to a mediator to push the process forward. I have prayed and I have worked on my “fixing”. I have been doing all I can to be a loving wife. I have tried to let go and let God and I fear that Lord his heart is to hardened. I took a vow and I believe in the man that I married. I have always been here for him, but Lord I ask that you guide him back to me and to have faith in our marriage and in You. He does not believe in miracles anymore. He does not believe in us. He does not believe in anything, except what he thinks he will find by leaving his family. We are devastated. Lord please help my husband. Help him find the peace within and help guide him to the place where he is safe - here at home. Help him find his way back to a place of belief and faith.
Amen

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give your husband guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in his time of need.

St. Joseph, patron of all fathers and husbands, most chaste spouse of Mary, pray for this man. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful, and enkindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Dear Lord I pray that you will open his heart and his mind to be able to see and believe in all of the Love and miracles you have already given him in his family. Help him find a level of peace in his life, help him to see the love you have for him. Give him the strength to admit to himself that he can not do this alone.

When I get to a point of being overwhelmed with life and this fast paced world I listen to this song to remind me that this life isn’t about me.

I offer up this prayer from Archbishop Oscar Romero for your husband.

It helps, now and then, to step back and take a long view.*

The kingdom is not only beyond our efforts, it is even beyond our vision.

We accomplish in our lifetime only a tiny fraction of the magnificent
enterprise that is God’s work. Nothing we do is complete, which is a way of
saying that the Kingdom always lies beyond us.

No statement says all that could be said.

No prayer fully expresses our faith.

No confession brings perfection.

No pastoral visit brings wholeness.

No program accomplishes the Church’s mission.

No set of goals and objectives includes everything.

This is what we are about.

We plant the seeds that one day will grow.

We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise.

We lay foundations that will need further development.

We provide yeast that produces far beyond our capabilities.

We cannot do everything, and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that.

This enables us to do something, and to do it very well.

It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an
opportunity for the Lord’s grace to enter and do the rest.

We may never see the end results, but that is the difference between the master builder and the worker.

We are workers, not master builders; ministers, not messiahs.

We are prophets of a future not our own.

Lifting you and your husband up in a novena…

Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!

Saint Bernadette, pray for us!

Amen.
