Can someone help me out here? I noticed that Loreto Press has come out with a Haydock Douay Rheims Bible in a single burgandy leather volume with gold embossing. It’s a facsimile of an 1860s edition.

I got a copy of the smaller black leather Douay Rheims Bible published by Loreto a while back and I felt the quality was really inferior to the Baronius black leather Douay Rheims Bible.

If someone has purchased or looked at the new single volume burgandy leather Haydock Douay Rheims Bible put out by Loreto, can he comment on its quality and workmanship? Thanks!

Check this thread I started a while back. I don’t think Loreto publishes this bible (which is a good thing, because I feel the way you do about their D-R). Catholic Treasures identifies themselves as the publisher. Best price I’ve seen is here. By the way, this probably should be in the Sacred Scripture forum.
 
Please explain the editions of your bible translations, their strengths and weaknesses, thanks
