Losing a friend

Hey guys, my ex boyfriend/best friend decided it was too hard to keep talking to me, and we’ve cut communications. I’m at college right now, and I’ve been having a fantastic time, but this was a side blow I didn’t see coming at all. I’m kind of a wreck right now. Please keep us both in your prayers; I’m worried for him, as always, but now I’m kind of lost at sea. I’m sure this is the best choice, all told; he wasn’t healing like I was at all, but gosh it’s hard. So yes. Please pray for our safety and healing, and that I’ll get a rebound pretty fast - I’ve got a program I have to go to today, and I kind of need that second wind now. St. Gangolf, St. Lucy, St. Agnes, St. Dymphna, pray for us. St. Monica, hold onto Ethan because I can’t. St. Augustine, pray for us. Amen.
 
Male-female relationships are dropped all the time in college. It’s part of “finding oneself.” You have my condolences.

Throw yourself into schoolwork and school social events (while keeping prayer-life, sacraments and penance up to date) and time will heal this wound.

O Glorious Saint Bartholomew, Jesus called you a person without guile and you saw in this word a sign that he was the Son of God and King of Israel. Obtain for us the grace to be ever guileless and innocent as doves. At the same time, help us to have your gift of faith to see the Divine hand in the events of daily life. May we discern the signs of the times that lead to Jesus on earth and will eventually unite us to him forever in heaven. Amen.
