- How can I know that Mary really does deserve the honor given as the Catholic Church expresses and believes?
- How can I know that the saints really do pray for us?
- How can I know that if I become Catholic I’m doing the right thing by God even if it makes others think that I’m falling away from Him?
- How can I, as an ex-Protestant, find my way to God?

Remember that:
**On the Cross **- Jesus saw his own mother, and the disciple standing near whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold your son”. Then he said to the disciple, “Behold your mother”. And from that hour, he took his mother into his family.
The Wedding at Cana - Jesus, His Mother and disciples were invited to a wedding in Cana. During the wedding feast the wine ran short. Mary turned to Jesus: “They have no wine.”
Jesus replied: “What would you have me do? My hour has not yet come.” Mary said to the waiters: “Do whatever he tells you.”
There were six stone water jars, each holding fifteen to twenty gallons. Jesus bids the waiters to fill the jars with water, and then draw some out and take it to the chief steward.
The chief steward said to the groom: “Every man serves the good wine first… but you have saved the good wine until now.”
At Mary’s request, Jesus worked His first miracle.

Finding in the Temple - And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother[a] did not know it; but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day’s journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances. So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.
51 Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was
subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. (Luke 2:42-51)
God is a God of the Living - “He is not God of the dead, but of the living, for to Him all are alive.” Luke 20.38 (Remember how Moses and Elijah came down to the Mountain)
So if Jesus was obedient as to Blessed Virgin Mary throughout his life, from his first biblical statement, to his first miracle. And on the death on the cross, he even entrusted her with humankind. **So Jesus revered her through life. Shouldn’t we follow his example and do the same? ** Especially because God is a God of the living and not the dead - so she is still alive. Besides,
the miracle at Fatima was witnessed by 70,000 people and recorded in the New York Times and Newsweek.
And Paul says that Christians should interceed: “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good, and pleasing to God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:1–4). (

So why not ask the Mother of Jesus to interceed before we ask our falliable friends?
