Lost and dieing world?

Everyday I see the same ( or similar) thread titles and conversations over and over again.

Why do we sit here day after day in front of our computers arguing & rehashing the same stuff when there is a lost and dieing world out there?

Please explain. We are getting no where here.

Here’s an idea:
How about lets start threads about how you personally lead someone to Jesus Christ? And lets make the rule that this person( that you led to Christ) has never set foot in any church before? And has never been introduced to His saving Grace.

WOW won’t these be some great topics. Maybe we could all have something to celebrate with the angels in heaven, instead of arguing:thumbsup:

There’s a lost and dying world out there, yes - and the inhabitants of that very same world come HERE - for information and advice, for prayers for themselves and loved ones, or simply for comfort and reassurance. There’s no separation between the two. And we’re not getting nowhere - people DO leave these forums strengthened, reassured, wiser, better.

I hope that I HAVE led people to Christ who have come onto these forums. And in other ways - I practice my faith, support different good works and discuss my faith with workmates, family members and friends.

I’m not going to go into details though, that would be the sin of boasting. Paul tells us to boast in nothing save the Cross of Christ. For me or anyone else to say further than that we ‘hope’ we have helped others is sinful presumption as well - it is, after all, God who leads them to Himself and certainly can and does do so without any help from me or you or anyone else.

One would have to know Christ before they can someone else to Him.
Jesus is with each of us here and now we do not need to go to church or take communion or anything else to recieve Jesus other than to open ourselves up to Him and allow Him in our hearts and we have allow Him to lead us no matter where He may take us.

i think the op has misunderstood the ppurpose of this forum.

cannot disagree in principle, but this forum has a fairly narrow purpose. maybe he should find another more suited to his needs.

It’s a lost and dying world, as long as there are people who keep denying Christ and continue to live in sin.
