The devil has not won!
Even though…I’m down and flat on my back now. I am desparate for employment. My head and heart aches. Anyway, thanks for all the prayers…and I guess I should continue praying. Its been months since I am staying at a friends’ house as I’ve completed school and I have not landed a job. I give thanks for the family that took me in. I feel as though I have done everything I can…what else is there to do? I have to leave this house very soon, and that’s that…I am lost, weary, sad, depressed, disappointed, angry sometimes and just tired. I have a Masters degree, basic work experience, I’ve networked, volunteered my services, prayed, did novenas, attended mass, said the rosary, prayed for others…prayed some more, cried, prayed, confessed, prayed…asked for help from others…and prayed more.
I am in need of an urgent miracle…

Dear Father in Heaven grant Marian the miracle she needs to land herself a job. She has done everything she can think of to obtain employment and has even volunteered her time. Grant please reward her efforts because she is in great need. Grant her also peace of mind. An Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be and a Fatima Prayer to help her cause. Amen

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end
Amen

If you are of good health and mind, then you have not done all you can do. You can go and enlist in the service of your nation in one of the Armed Forces.

I have intimate knowledge of being in a truly, close to home similar situation, and in a way, am now, it’s almost a way of life at this stage. The thing is, once you let go of everything and let him, then stand back and watch him show you what he can do once he’s taken control on the reigns. You have done all of these things, wonderful, but it’s you doing it, do them because you are called to, as you are called to do them, and let him take care of the rest. Trust in him, and know you will be delivered, and know he deeply loves you and wouldn’t take you this far just to leave you hanging, he always follows through because he is always faithful even though we are not…

May the Author of joy refresh your soul and grant your intentions.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we turn to you, O Virgins of virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us and answer us. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Have FAITH!

God helps the quickest those who help themselves, right!

In this econnomy such as it is in MIGHT be prudent to Go where the work is rather than waiting for work to find you. [That’s why God invented head-hunters].🙂

Friend, have you considered that God may want you someplace else? Have you seriously prayerd about this possibility?👍

Don’t give up; Christ NEVER DID!

Love and prayers,
Pat

:grouphug: Praying for you.

St Joseph, you had work when you married Mary, but the relocation to Bethlehem left you without employment, as again, did the flight to Egypt to escape murder by King Herod of the divine Child after Jesus was born. When you moved to Nazareth with the family, you again had to build up a business to support your wife.
In empathy, remembering your own practical difficulties, please pray that this person will obtain work soon

Searching for and Maintaining Peace by Father Jacques Philippe… Trust in Providence. I quote (and it’s long, hope you don’t mind) " The measure of Divine Providence in us depends on the degree of trust that we have in it. Do not anticipate the unpleasant events of life by apprehension, rather anticipate them with the perfect hope that, as they happen, God, to Whom you belong, will protect you. He has protected you up to the present moment; just remain firmly in the hands of His providence and He will help you in all situations and at those times when you find yourself unable to walk, He will carry you. What should you fear, my daughter, [my son] since you belong to God Who has so strongly assured us that for those who love Him all things turn into happiness. Do not think of what may happen tomorrow, because the same eternal Father Who takes care of you today, will take care of you tomorrow and forever. Either He will see that nothing bad happens to you or, if He allows anything bad to happen to you , He will give you the invincible courage to bear it. Remain at peace, my daughter. Remove from your imagination whatever may upset you and say frequently to our Lord, “O God, Your are my God and I will trust in You; You will help me and You will be my refuge and there is nothing I will fear, because not only are You with me, but also, You are in me and I in You. What does a child in the arms of such a Father have to fear? Be as a little child, my dearest daughter. As you know, children don’t concern themselves with many matters; they have others who think for them. They are strong enough if they remain with their father. Therefore, act accordingly, my daughter, [my son]and you will be at peace.”

Thanks Trishie…for sharing those comforting words.
I continue to pray and trust…
