Need prayers for patience and success with the job finding process. I’m letting it stress me out.

Thanks

Sorry to hear it, may St. Joseph intercede
for a JOB for you, yes, you!!

Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ,
spouse of the blessed Virgin Mary the Mother of God, powerful
protector of the Holy Church, to you do I raise my heart and hands
to implore your powerful intercession. You searched nothing else
in this world but the glory of God and the good of others. You gave
yourself completely to the Savior, it was cause for joy to pray, to work,
to sacrifice yourself, to suffer, to die for him. You were unknown in this
world even though Jesus knew you very well, he would look at your
simple and hidden life with complacency. Saint Joseph, you have helped
so many people so far I come to you with great trust. In the light of God
you can see what misses me, you know my worries, my difficulties,
my sorrow. I commend to your fatherly solicitude this specific task…
(**find employment **). I am placing it in your hands that saved child-Jesus.
Ask for the grace to never separate me from Jesus by the mortal sin,
to know him ant love him even more and his blessed Mother, to always
live in the presence of God, to do anything for his glory and the good of
other souls, and one day to reach the beatific vision of God to praise him
eternally with you. Amen.

Prayers for you to secure decent well paid employment with security, so that God may work through you to improve the lives of your spouse and children, first of all, all with whom you work, secondly, and enough left over to be generous to the poor and to the Church.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

A Prayer for Employment

God, our Father, I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment.
I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents you have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment.
Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance.
Grant this through Christ, our Lord.
Amen

Hi! I’m a new member of Catholic Answers Forum. I am looking forward to growing in my faith in this Forum, and hopefully be helpful in helping others grow in their faith. I have a question related to being unemployed to one of the Theologians. I have been looking for work, while being unemployed for about 2 months, and having great difficulty finding a job, due to me not having a license in Counseling, but only having a Masters Degree in Counseling. Due to this fact, I have been looking for any job I can find, and I finally was hired about a week ago for a part time position, as a customer service representative at a convenience store for one of the largest Petroleum Corporations in the United States. Recently, I discovered that they sell condoms at this convenience store, and I want to know if it is a mortal sin for me to sell condoms for the store at the cash register. I am close to losing my car from being late on car payments, my mother is close to losing her home, which is were I live; and I don’t know how long it would be for me to find another job, if I have to quit this job to avoid committing a mortal sin of selling condoms to customers at the convenience store, I work at. Please advise me in this situation.

Praying that God leads you to suitable employment–
Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

To you, O blessed Joseph,
do we come in our tribulation,
and having implored the help of your most holy spouse,
we confidently invoke your patronage also.

Through that charity which bound you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the paternal love with which you embraced the Child Jesus,
we humbly beg you graciously to regard the inheritance which Jesus Christ has purchased by his Blood,
and with your power and strength to aid us in our necessities.

O most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ;
O most loving father,
ward off from us every contagion of error and corrupting influence;
O our most mighty protector,
be propitious to us and from heaven assist us in our struggle with the power of darkness;
and, as once you rescued the Child Jesus from deadly peril, so now protect God?s Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity;
shield, too, each one of us by your constant protection,
so that, supported by your example and your aid, we may be able to live piously, to die holily, and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. Amen

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Prayers for success in getting another job soon and for peace of soul.

Praying you secure employment and for peace.

St Joseph, pray for us!

Praying that you find employment and that your level of stress is reduced. I have gone through the loss of a job, and I understand the emotional strain you are feeling. Peace be with you.

Praying for you…

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power.
O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen.

Due to the fact that you NEED a job and
a place to live you can possibly get a
dispensation from your priest about the
selling of condoms.
