Well last evening’s episode didn’t answere any questions, but merely created a new one. Why was there a VW bus in the middle of the jungle, with a dead body inside of it?

Why did they have so much beer in the van?

We know that the van apparently belonged to the Dharma Initiative people (who originally were conducting experiments on the island, possibly pre-dating “the others”) because it had that symbol on the front.

As for how it ended up abandoned with the dead driver in it, he may have gotten into an accident, but we may never know. I think it was just a filler episode but we’ll see if the van comes in handy in later episodes.

Well I bet Hurley’s dad is probably in court right now trying to prove that the plane crashd and that eveyone died and then the court is probably ruling that he has to wait 7 years to get Hurley’s money. His dad is probably really upset.

Maybe he’s too busy taking care of his ex-wife’s “needs.”😃

I can’t stand when they show people they’ve never shown before, like that good looking guy in the beginning. I also think it’s lame they keep adding to storys, like Hurleys, it was already told, it’s like they don’t know what else to do. I was glad to see at least an appearance of the main stays, I hate it when they just leave some character out of the show week after week. I was laughing alot durning this episode, which I never do when I’m watching LOST. How about the hand made golden Jesus one minute then going to see a fortune teller the next, someone on that show needs to tune into Catholic Answers, ASAP!!!
Did anyone else think Kate looks preggers?

My wife and I really enjoyed this episode. It was great when they were just driving the bus around. Perfect music choice.

We were in tears several times. When Sawyer was teaching Jin english - we had to pause it because we were laughing so hard. Or when Sawyer found the head in the backseat.

It was almost a downer when they showed the brief 1 minute at the end with Danielle Rouseeau. They should’ve left that out and let it end on a high note.

Awesome episode last night. Anyone got a guess as to who has the connection next week? I’m still going with Claire being Jack’s half sister. Any thoughts?

Shut up!!!
Some of us are only half way through series 2. I don’t wanna know.
la,la,la,I’m not listening!
(Of course, I didn’t have to read this thread)

Holy explosions batman!

This guy seems to like to make things go boom. First he blows a hole in the hatch. Then he blows up the hatch. Then he blows up that little house outpost. And now the sub!

He’s a walking demolition man.

Crazy when his dad plowed him through the window! Both my wife and I sucked in our breath!

As soon as Alex told Locke that her dad manipulates people it dawned on me that Ben wanted Locke to blow up the sub. Ben is one crazy genius.

Interesting interplay though about Ben being in the wheelchair and Locke not.

And we both guessed Locke’s dad came out of pandora’s box. That’s gonna make things interesting.

Whoever did the casting did a great job picking the actor who plays Ben. He’s great. And he’s got those wide-open crazy eyes!:bowdown2:

The show will tank if it does not start answering real questions.

But the Others still have Desmonds sailboat, right? I think it would be hard to believe that they had just one way off the island and that was it. I think they still have ways off the island.

I don’t think the show will ever tank. It would tank if they answered all the questions. That’s part of the draw for the show, the mysteries.
My brother and I were laughing about Lock the other day. I mean, that guy is a walking disaster.
Ben is a twisted dude. I laughed at the part when he told Jack that he’d let Kate and Sayid go once Jack was off the island. Double meaning there.:ehh:

From what I understand the show has already dropped in viewship because people were getting frustrated with no answers. I for one have enjoyed the show, but my patience is wearing thin. We need to be told why they are on the Island, who the others really are, what the Dharma Initiative is, etc…

If not, the show will tank, people will grow tired of the program just creating more questions. The producers need to know that it is impossible for this to be a 10 year run, people do not want another Gillgans Island and the show is turning it that very quickly. I have family members that refuse to ever watch again beause of their frustration and they are not alone. It is widely known that ABC blew it with Lost.

I know more than one person who has given up on “Lost” because they drag the story lines out so long…

I watch with a thinning patience. I thought this was the only good episode since they brought the show back this year. If I have to sit through another episode where all they do is figure out how to drive a car then I will turn it off and stop watching.

I hear you.

I am giving it this season. If they have not moved the story forward considerably by the end of this season (about 6 more episodes?), then I will probably not return next year and I think the show will take a huge hit in viewership.

The episode last night ended with a graphic depiction of two people being buried alive…incredibly disturbing and quite off the mark. It seems obvious the writers have no clue where they are going and now they are stooping to gratuitous actions events.

Just terrible.
