Can everyone join with Saint Anthony and me in asking Jesus that someone find my wallet? I lost it last night.
I know Saint Anthony is a brilliant saint, but I still have found that prayers to find things seem to work when asking his intercession.

Saint Anthony, please help my wallet find its way back to me and I thank Jesus ahead of time for whatever the outcome is.

@Smhoffer welcome to the prayer forum. May you find
many blessings and comfort among you brothers and
sisters in Christ.

Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua for Lost Items

O blessed St. Anthony, the grace of God has made you
a powerful advocate in all our needs and the patron
of restoring of things lost or stolen.

You have helped countless children of God find what
they have lost, material things, and, more importantly,
the things of the spirit: faith, hope, and love.

I confidently ask you to help @Smhoffer. I recommend
has been lost to your care, in the hope that God will
restore it. Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Amen to that and thank you.
I am holding out some hope for now, but may have to cancel credit cards and such soon to be safe.

It is very odd that it is gone…I hope that someone found it and is prompted by the spirit and guardian angels to reach out to me.

There are so many sufferings that far surpass this, so I understand it is minor in comparison, but I pray for it to be found anyway.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

TO RECOVER LOST THINGS

O blessed St. Anthony,

the grace of God has made you a powerful advocate

in all our needs and the patron

for the restoring of things lost or stolen.

I turn to you today with childlike love and deep confidence.

You have helped countless children of God

to find the things they have lost,

material things, and, more importantly,

the things of the spirit: faith, hope, and love.

I come to you with confidence;

help me in my present need.

I recommend what I have lost to your care,

in the hope that God will restore it to me,

if it is His holy Will.

Amen.

Praying for your intentions.

I know how upsetting this could be.

I pray that some kind soul finds it and gives it back to you.

Thank you!

I am giving it one more day, then will have to shut down all credit cards.

No activity though, so not sure why it is just gone.

Good luck finding it. I hope you just put it down somewhere you don’t normally put it…

I was wondering where I had put my prescription sunglasses the other day. I figured I’d left them in DH’s console the last time I’d borrowed his car. Today, I pulled out my winter coat to use as a rain coat… and there they were in the pocket. If I hadn’t needed that coat, it would have been Thanksgiving before I found my sunglasses! 😛

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread, And, forgive us our trespases, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Wonderful that you found them.
Over the years, things I have lost have turned up even in places all of us have looked.
Then we look at each other and know that little miracles do occur.

But sometimes, it may not, and I have to accept it.

@Smhoffer

When I was living in a small town, I found a dog wandering around a supermarket parking lot. He seemed very much like a lap dog, and I was afraid he would get run over.

So I picked him up and took him home. He had a vaccination tag on his collar so I called the vet, but I got no answer. I had to keep him chain up outside, because dogs weren’t allowed in my apartment complex. I called the police, and they had a pen for lost dogs.

Later, that same day, the owner came to me. She had gone to the police to find her dog. She had tears in her eyes and thanked me for rescuing him and for taking him to the police. It was such a wonderful moment.

Maybe God directed me to that dog so that he could be reunited with his owner.

St. Anthony, helper in all necessities, pray for us.

Wonderful story…I do believe that was a little miracle that was very big to the dog owner.

I have had to accept that my wallet may be gone, so cancelled all cards…maybe there is a lesson. Inconsequential things can be replaced.

It is also a reminder how hard life must be for people without a bank account with credit or debit cards.

I could not pay for a haircut with a check. Tried to buy groceries from a Target and they denied my check because I had no check writing history.

I am still in a funk, but trying to learn and see Christ in even these odd things in life. Saint Anthony I understand was amazing at drawing all sorts of incidents and explaining how they relate to the teachings of Christ and intimately to Him at the focus of all things.

I keep trying. Thank you and love in Christ to you and all who reach out via responses and prayers.
It does make a huge impact known and unknown.
