Not sure what you mean about that; it doesn’t exist in the French LOTH.
In the American version, there are a number of appendices, including things such as extra prayers. There is also an appendix devoted to poetry. It’s just whatever spiritual poetry the publisher decided to throw in. Some of it is quite good. But a lot of it is not. Either way, I’m sure most of us use our Breviary to pray the Hours, not read poetry.

Thanks.

In the French version, besides the Gradual Psalms, there’s an appendix with the Beatitudes and an additional NT Canticle, plus a selection of extra (not very inspiring) hymns. But no poetry.

Does the English LOTH have the psalm-prayers? The French (like the Latin) does not, but my French post-Conciliar breviary (monastic schema “B”) has them. Like most folks I gather, I don’t use them. Tried them a couple of times but I find they break the flow of the liturgy.

Unless I’m completely blind, the Collins three-volume set (UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, et. al.) does not include the psalm-prayers.

Each volume does have a poetry section, though. :woman_shrugging:t2:
