A question for those of you who pray parts (or even all) of the Divine Office. Which of the four allowed Invitatory Psalms do you use? I ask this because I use Psalm 100, and today Psalm 100 was part of Morning Prayer. As instructed, I substituted Psalm 95. Does anyone else use a Psalm other then 95 for their Invitatory Psalm

I almost always use Psalm 95 as the Inviatory Psalm. It’s just the “habit” I got into. Once in a while, if I catch my mind wandering as I am reciting psalm 95, I will choose one of the other ones.

I always use Psalm 100. I’m curious to see how other people respond.

I alternate, although usually it depends on the day. If I remember right, Psalm 100 (when it falls within the regular cycle) is always on a Friday, and Psalm 67 is Tuesday/Wednesday. I usually default to Psalm 95 though, and I use it more than the others combined.
