For those who find it hard to navigate the breviary, the flipping back and forth, the ribbons, the bookmarks, the rules, the exceptions to the rules, the exceptions to the exceptions etc etc etc…:rolleyes:

There is an “easier, softer way”, if a bit more expensive.

The have two excellent books for sale. One is Compline, and the other is Sunday Vespers. Both are from the Divine Office, but are laid out in an easy to use format. So simple and easy that even I can use them. Highly recommended.👍

Speaking of the LOTH…don’t forget to switch to volume III today. I just finished switching ALL my prayer cards over. You don’t realize how many you actually have until you switch books.
 
Don’t you (or didn’t you used to) say the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Harry? I have the same edition of it as you, and it’s excellent in terms of avoiding the unnecessary flipping.

I do recite the Little Office, but not every week. Maybe one week per month or two. I am reciting the Little Office this week, 11 - 17 May, as 13 May is Our Lady Of Fatima.

But I do have other offices and prayers routines which I rotate, to avoid monotony and boredom.
 
yes but the cats love to play with the ribbons dangling from the big book
