I’d like to take advantage of the indulgence granted by the Church to those who pray the morning or evening prayers from the Office for the Dead.

Do we pray the Office for the Dead in addition to the regular Hours or **as a substitute for **the normal morning or evening Hours?

The rubrics are not clear. I *think *it may be prayed as a substitute on days when this is permissible (cf. Votive Offices in GILH 245). But when I pray it on Fridays/Wednesdays, I do so in addition.
