What does the Catholic Church teach about Lot’s wife?
Was she offered redemption by Christ?

Wouldn’t it be the same as the Jewish teaching? Basically, she was punished because she couldn’t free herself from the attachment to the sins that the city represented? Basically, it’s a warning that pining after past sins is just as dangerous as actually living in sin.
