Louis de Wohl question

I read on Wikipedia that he used to be an astrologer, but one Catholic site said that he was actually a convert and **left **astrology prior to his conversion, and then wrote only Catholic books. Anyone know more about this? is the second source accurate?

Louis de Wohl was an anti-Nazi German who fled to Britain before the war. He posed as an astrologer to make anti-Nazi propaganda for the Allies. The Nazis were known to follow astrology and pre-Christian paganism. This tactic was controversial within the British government. He seems to have become a devout Catholic and wrote a number of books on Catholic topics after the war. I don’t see any reason to doubt his Catholicism.

He was an aristocrat, an occultist and a transvestite of Jewish descent who worked for the Allies during World War Two. At some point afterwards he converted to Catholicism, and evidently was inducted into the Knights of Malta. He had a strange and interesting life, which would probably make for an amusing movie.
