An incredible miracle in Lourdes has officially been recognized by the Church: Elisa Aloi.
Here is the list of Lourdes’ miracles approved by the Church:

Elisa Aloi: Osteo-articular tuberculosis with multiple infected fistulae on the right leg.

But there is an incredible unknown thing: here are the words of the doctor who has treated Ms. Aloi till the wonderful miracle: “but the bone which I operated myself, that with my own hands I removed from your leg, it regrew.”

At this link you can find the press belongs to the newspaper Avvenire, the official newspaper of the Italian Bishop’s Conference, with the doctor’s words about the regrown bone. The article (at page 28 of the pdf file) has the title: “Elisa, miracolata oggi volontaria Unitalsi” (if you have a priest or a friend who knows italian language you will glorify God for His Mercy!!!)

I want to remember that the body of Saint Bernardette Soubirous still rests incorrupt:

Do bones regrow by themselves, do incurable illnesses stop and heal themselves ?
But more importantly: the dead will rise again by themselves when Christ will come in His glory ?

I have been to Lourdes as a skeptic and came back a true believer, what is more impressive than the “BIG MIRACLES” are all the little personal ones.

Our Lady of Lourdes please pray for us.
Saint Bernadette please pray for us

“I shall do everything for heaven, my true home. There I shall find my Mother in all the splendor of her glory. I shall delight with her in the joy of Jesus Himself in perfect safety.”
Saint Bernadette

Praise God! I love Lourdes. If I were a rich Widow, I’d go there, but I’m not. Too poor. Thanks for sharing this with us here.

After watching the movie “The Song of Bernadette” I always wanted to visit Lourdes. Lourdes is my favorite Marian apparition. 🙂

Been reading about Jesuit priest Fr. James Martin SJ, trip to Lourdes and he has some good stories about it.
