They talked a little bit about Edward Bernays in Episode 2: ‘Turning Up The Heat’:
Lots of interesting propaganda techniques explained (many still used by the Modern Media to manipulate their populations’ opinions and thoughts), as well as many interesting historical facts I have never heard of before like the 1956 protests in Poland for better working conditions, Louis Armstrong’s Jazz Tours in Africa on behalf of the U.S. Goverment, the U.S.S.R. Exhibition in New York in 1959 (which included the Sputnik satellite) and many others in this interesting four hour long history series.

They talked a little bit about Edward Bernays in Episode 2: ‘Turning Up The Heat’:
Edward Louis Bernays (November 22, 1891 – March 9, 1995) was an Austrian-American pioneer in the field of public relations and propaganda, referred to in his obituary as “the father of public relations”.[1] He combined the ideas of Gustave Le Bon and Wilfred Trotter on crowd psychology with the psychoanalytical ideas of his uncle, Sigmund Freud.
