Do you know anything about the group??

There are rumors that they want to build a retreat center in my diocese…

Our bishop in 2005 said that he does not approve of the group…

The media relations office of the diocese reaffirmed the same statements today when news hit that Love Holy Trinity Blessed Mission was looking to build a retreat center within our diocese.

I’ve googled the group and know that my local bishop along with bishops in neighboring diocese does NOT approve. Our bishop has warned the faithful to stay away from the Love Holy Trinity Blessed Mission.

I know that the group claims to be “Roman Catholic”; however at the same time they do NOT have approval from the Vatican or my local bishop.

Does anybody understand what the controversy is about??

Or has more info about the group other that they have their roots in Chicago, IL and are not liked by many of the Bishops in the Chicago Area??

(I’m not looking to debate if a Catholic should be involved with LHTBM or not involved. I’m just looking to understand what LHTBM is about. Who are they? What are they? etc)

There are several member still trapped in this cult, which is now completely separated from the Church. In fact Fr Len Kruzel, a priest of the Archdiocese has still refused to leave this group. Very complicated situation.

I guess the Church should have had more oversight. This group was meeting in Church basements across the Archdiocese of Chicago for YEARS!

Just another example of the Church’s lack of oversight over new groups in the Church.
