Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Pope speaking to families in Mexico, encouraged them:
Pope Francis this evening met with thousands of families in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, relaxed and laughing with them as he exhorted them to make the sacrifices required of true love.
The Pope admitted that love isn’t easy. It isn’t easy, he said, leaving aside his text briefly. But it is the most beautiful thing that a man and woman can give each other.
The Holy Father responded to the testimonies of various people and families, reserving special praise and a delighted smile for an elderly couple that had been married for 50 years… Full article HERE

Dear beckie,

St. Therese said wisely: “Everything is grace”. God’s Grace enables us to love as He loves. May He continue to give you and all of us His grace to forgive all those who may hurt us.

Jesus taught us to pray: “Our Father…forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us…” God does not ask the impossible, but gives us the grace to do what He commands.

Nothing worthwhile is easy.
True, Wildgraywolf,

“Nothing worthwhile is easy” in most instances. Yet, when the Pope is speaking to families, it seems so very important to emphasize the essential need for “Love”. I hope you read the full article. So many families are in such need of loving parents and children working together in love for one another.
