I was just thinking about how Jesus call us to love in the greatest way; namely laying down our life for another. However, if someone loves a bad person, but the bad person doesn’t love the other good person, is the good person stilled called to lay down their life for the bad person? I would say yes because that is the kind of love Jesus calls us to in the Bible, but at the same time, I feel like a lot of people would think that is crazy. Thoughts?

Your question is very vague.

Yes, laying down your life for someone is considered the greatest token of love that one can give another, but such actions should never be taken lightly. Every human life is precious, including your own.

In the case of the ‘bad person’ I’m not sure what you mean. You’d have to put it into some kind of context.

God loves bad persons but hates their condition. Seeing God died for everybody, bad persons included, then I would think that He would be pleased if you, in imitation of Him and out of charity, died for those persons He died for and loves. God bless you.

Good person always suffer in love. People use their love in wrong way which leads to suffering and made people emotionally unstable.

You do what your heart tells you, do not mind what other people say, God is always there for you.
