It is a mystery that is hard to understand and explain to all of us. ‘Supernatural’ as it were. So what are some ways to explaining what we may understand? Could it in fact be described as supernatural?

Love is a Choice you make. To Love or Not To Love, no other factors or reasons need be considered.

Love is an action word, its a verb. Its not some mystical force that compells us to do something, or lack of it makes us unable to do something. We choose to love and we perform an act to convey love.

Love has been romanticized that we have terms such as “falling in” and “falling out of” love. There’s no such thing. If you want to love and you go and love. There’s is nothing preventing us from loving anybody, anyone.

I ~do~ like the term “In Love”… when I consider it in a sense of Being(Living) In(Within) Love(God)…

And as far as which type of Love, I was assuming Agape.

Good point. I’m addressing it from the “mystical force” perspective that people seem to make that falling in love and falling out of love is something they have no control over. Truth is, we can always control whom and when we love or not.

I agree, going back to my post, Love is a Choice we make. =)

Now… ~Infatuation~ is what I think too many people ~mistake~ for Love, which is I think that “romanticized” bit you’re talking about best fits… “addictive love” is one of the definitions there, a form of Self Love, and rather unrelated to the Love we receive and share from God, in any good form… basically that “mystical, uncontrollable force” is an “addiction”… I’m trying to quit smoking… so I can feel the resemblance, quitting cigs now, to when I was younger and “got a crush” on someone ~lol~

By definition, Love is the act upon the will. Not emotion.

Which type of love are you referring to?
Two kinds; love between neighbors and love between husband and wife.

to me they are mysterious and supernatural, but I can not always explain my best intentions or descriptions. So I wanted to understand what others see,
