Loving Jesus and Others

Just have a question about something I thought about today. I want to love Jesus more then anything in life. I want Him to be the center of it all. But, as someone who feels he’s called to marriage, how do you love others without loving them more then Jesus? I don’t want to put others before Him. But how do I keep Him at the center of my life when IF I meet that special lady?

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and everything else shall be added unto you.
You are to love Jesus first before all things. Remember the first commandment. Your wife would be a god if you loved her more than God. When you find someone in the Catholic church they should be feeling as you do. God wants us to be passionately in love with Him. When I was reborn in the Holy Spirit, I couldn’t put the Bible down. I read the NT in 4 days. Now, the OT gives me trouble. Judges 12 where Jephet offers his daughter up as a sacrifice after he returns from battle. Then, there is Lot offering his daughters to the mob to protect the two guests who came for shelter. Of, cause they were angels. And the poor slave someone gave to a mob and she was raped to death. But there is a lot of wonderful things in the OT if you can get past all that. God first. spouse second. kids are third. job is next.

May God give you wisdom and may you find this passionate love for Jesus.

If you truly love Jesus more than anything and anyome then by default you will be a good husband. The effect of following and loving Jesus will extend to everyone surrounding you
Put Jesus first and everything else will falll in perfect place.
