Two thousand years have gone since the birth of Christ, the Church founded and blessed by Christ has suffered all kinds of troubles. From the persecution of the Martyrs under Roman rule to the bloody revolt of the French Revolution, the Church still stands tall. Probably the blessing of Christ-Mattew 16:18-is responsible for it.
The Church in the third millenium faces another obstacle in its teaching: Christian, and pseudochristians sects. For the knowlegeable Catholic some of these new doctrines could seem like “lunatic fringe”, but these new doctrines are a great set back for society’s moral values, and are also diminishing two thousand years of Cafholic doctrine.
It is not the Church’s fault. “Our society is losing its ability to think logically” Padre Juan Rivas from 87.7 fm Guadalupe radio. And it’s true. The Jehova Witnesses, and the www.laluzdelmundo.net are nothing but ex-Catholics who changed two thousand years of bible teaching for the teachings of individuals that never had any basic treaning in church ministry.
