I request that you pray for me, and all others struggling with masturbation.

I know it is the Devil that is tempting me, even if the urges do not seem strong. But every ten days (if not less) I am forgetful of how terrible it is to commit such an offense against God and my own body.

I wonder if this is how an alcoholic feels. At the very least I can continue to struggle against this vice, as giving up won’t make me happy.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
 
I shall pray that you will have the strength to shun this sin…but it is very difficult.

Take things one day at a time.
