Lutheran chapel in Berkeley

So as I was walking along College today, I saw on my left one of these…



…flying on a flagpole attached to a Lutheran chapel.

Did Lutherans change their mind on something? I thought that was the Anglicans that were ok with this now :confused:

You should Google “Most Holy Redeemer Parish” in San Fransisco, CA. It’s a parish that is in full communion with the Novus Ordo Church but it has pictures of things much worse than this, even participating in “Gay Pride” parades.

I might add that you are perfectly OK and in good standing if you attend this parish but don’t you DARE attend an SSPX Mass, they’re schismatic! :rolleyes:

It’s a Lutheran Church, so I can promise you I won’t be attending. I think Lutherans are slightly more schismatic than SSPX 😉 But rest assured I won’t be attending either, there’s a nice ICK parish in Oakland.
 
Hi Jon,

The rainbow flag is a symbol for Gay Pride. I believe that this church is probably a Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Yea, probably ELCA. I suspect LCMS and WELS wouldn’t be allowed at Berkeley. 😃

SSPX is not, I am sad to say. I would be quite happy were they reconciled.**
